Shannon Bisson began learning to play the piano at age 6, continuing through college as a music major with a focus on piano. Her BA was awarded by Thomas Edison State College, NJ. Since earning her degree, she has taught private piano lessons for students ages 4 - adult in the Dayton area, and continued learning through teacher workshops at Cedarville University and Wright State University and private lessons with Dr. Daniel Sachs. She studied organ with Yun Kim on scholarship from the Dayton Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Church pianist for 15 years, she played for Dayton Compassion Church (a group of African immigrants) for almost 9 years, and currently serves Redeemer Church in Beavercreek, and St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Huber Heights. She is a member of Dayton Music Club and Ohio Federation of Music clubs, and the Junior Counselor for OFMC District III. With her siblings, she received the 2014 Music Family of the Year Award from OFMC.
